Former inn "De Witte Leeuw", later the "Gouden Leeuw", now a private residence, originally two houses and at least dating back to the early 18th century. According to the land registry archive, the two buildings were merged in 1841 and probably received the neoclassical appearance that was preserved until after the Second World War. In 1906, the inn was owned by Brouwerij Rogiers from Oost-Eeklo, which expanded the building at the back. The inn was run by René Roots- De Schepper (see earlier inscription).
