Located in a park with a preserved moat. Former farm in 1874, (W. Van Hoof) or 1877 (P. Diriken) converted into a castle, donated in 1900 to the poor board of the municipality as a home for the elderly, but the property was sold in 1903 and with the proceeds the old people's home was founded in the Wilsonstraat in 1908. Destroyed during the First World War and then rebuilt and modified several times, it is said to have preserved the foundations of the former castle.
Eclectic country house of one + two storeys with staggered volumes under a slate roof. Cemented plinth and bands, rectangular and arched wall openings. Perpendicular gardener's house to the southwest. Access bridge with preserved iron fence between bluestone posts. In the surrounding park there may be an ice cellar to the west of the house.
