Built in 1613-1614 on behalf of the polder board, later "House of plaisance" and in the course of time decay into a shop, fence and café. An exhibition hall has now been set up. Associated with Rubens because it was probably owned by Jan Brandt (father of Isabella Brandt, first wife of Rubens) and later by Jan van Broeckhoven de Bergeyck (second husband of Helena Fourment, after Rubens' death). Rather devoid location: the main façade overlooks the now more or less enclosed courtyard, of which remains of pavement with clinkers were preserved, laid in herringbone in front of the entrance.
