Beguinage Church of Saint Catherine

Nothing remains of the old chapel, built around 1265. In the 14th century it was replaced by the present Gothic church, built of iron sandstone and composed of three naves of six bays (circa 1318), a high, unprojecting transept (circa 1345) and a choir of one bay and heptagonal apse (circa 1329), presumably by Francon "de Lintris". On the north side, small sacristy built at the same time as the choir; On the south side, sacristy in traditional style (16th or 17th century). Unadorned façade, rhythmed by buttresses with steep chamfer; axial entrance with flat tympanum on door frames of linked columns; high window as the only direct illumination of the ship.
