Preserved interwar building, constructed as a café and butcher shop in 1934 by contractor Van der Bruggen for client Van Bellem. Corner building with Guldensporenstraat featuring two building levels and one and two bays with a typical angled and higher protruding corner bay, marked on the first floor by a three-sided bay window under a slate roof; the parapet is equipped with a niche containing a statue of Our Lady. Colorful facades made of light brick with contrasting plastered white-painted bands and window lintels on a hard stone plinth. Wide shop windows with preserved grid division in the transoms.
