Condédreef nr. 2 A/ Pottelberg. Known as "R.V.T. de Pottelberg," it includes the monastery of the Sisters of the Holy Family and the adjacent rest home named Our Lady of Seven Sorrows. Originally a monastery with an attached school established in 1835 by the Sisters Verrue. In 1899-1900, the monastery and school were abandoned, and E.H. Van Hoonacker established an institute for incurable elderly people and children. After World War I, the building was converted into a rest home. In 1938, the buildings were in disrepair and a new structure was built. A defining corner building that aligns with the new functionalism, characterized by a strict facade treatment and contrasting brick use. The corner volume is typified by a rounded middle volume. To the southeast is a late 19th-century chapel. VAN HOONACKER E., duizend Kortrijkse straten, Kortrijk, 1986, p. 386.
