Farm with watermill Lindeveldmolen

Farm with incorporated former grain watermill called "Lindeveldmolen", located on the Watermolenbeek, border stream with Deftinge. Former property of the Carthusian priory "Sint-Maartens-Bos" of Sint-Maartens-Lierde. Initially a standalone watermill of late medieval origin; indicated on the map of the Land of Aalst by J. Horenhault from 15(9)6. In 1788, the mill and residence were in poor condition, with the small barn and stable just newly built. The current farm buildings attached to the watermill mostly date from the second half of the 19th century and have a closed layout; later adaptations. Irregular pentagonal inner courtyard, mostly paved now. Whitewashed brick farm buildings under saddle and half-hip roofs (tiles and corrugated sheets) with more or less preserved volumes.
