Neo-Gothic cruciform basilica from 1931 designed by M. Christiaens (Tongeren) with preserved early Gothic west tower from the 14th century of the old church. The rubble stone parts at the bottom of the tower probably refer to the original church from the 12th or 13th century. This church was replaced in the 15th or 16th century by a single-nave, brick building of three bays and a choir of two straight bays with flat closing; it was fitted with brick lancet windows; The choir had an arched, marlstone window, probably dating from repairs in 1685-1691. In 1841 repairs were made to the tower, in 1899-1900 the church was enlarged by the construction of a transept, a new choir and a new sacristy, designed by E. Serrure (Sint-Truiden). In 1930, under pastor Kuypers, the old church was completely demolished except for the tower, and replaced by the current building. The tower was restored in 1982.
