Located on the corner with Zondereigen Gel. In 1464 Zondereigen was given a chapel, dependent on the parish of St. Remigius in Baarle-Hertog; Independent parish since 1842. Free-standing neo-Gothic church designed by J. Van Gastel, erected in 1859-1860 on the site of the former chapel; partly destroyed on 2/10/1944, rebuilt and enlarged in 1949 to a design by R. Van Steenbergen senior. Oriented pseudo-cruciform basilica with three-aisled nave of four bays, built-in west tower and built-in flush closed transept; In 1949 it was enlarged with a partly lower choir of two bays with an adjoining sacristy and storage room and semicircular apse. Brick construction with slate roofing; A large continuous gable roof covers the nave and the first choir bay, a slightly kinked gable roof covers the second choir bay and the annexes, a domed roof the apse.
