Description

Municipal boys' school from the end of the 19th century located on a triangular square between the Kapelleveld and the Lostraat. The school with a now demolished teacher's house to the south was built in 1884 and registered on the land register in 1885. The school remained unused for ten years after its construction, because neither Schepdaal nor Sint-Martens-Lennik wanted to open the new school. In the state archives two plans from 1893 and 1912 are preserved for improvement works and enlargements of the school (not consulted).
