Oriented classical parish church from 1771 - 1776 designed by architect Bernard Thibaut; the late Gothic west tower from around 1600 has been preserved. The church is located at the intersection of Brussels Street and Isidoor van Beveren Street, in the immediate vicinity of the castle of Groot-Bijgaarden (to the south of it). The former churchyard around the church has been replaced by a grassy plot with plantings, which is separated from the street by a low brick wall with a donkey back. The church was protected by a decree dated November 5, 1946, and is also located in the protected landscape of the castle of Groot-Bijgaarden (decree date: October 20, 1947).
