The strange-looking bat is an intriguing animal. Since the dawn of time, it has been the object of legends and superstitions which, unfortunately, have often proved fatal for it. Overlooking the site of Géromont’s ancient quarries, the Bat Centre, a building that incorporates organic architecture, is fully dedicated to this little mammal. This Centre does this animal proud and invites you on a playful and interactive trail into the fascinating world of pipistrelles, horseshoe bats, big-eared bats and other chiropterans. A slide show will tell you where they shelter in the summer and go hunting. When you leave the site, you will have all the information you need for joining the battle for their survival.
