The Willow Village

In the heart of the Burdinale-Mehaigne Natural Park, the Village du Saule is a charming and remarkable historical and natural ensemble to be discovered... It includes many notable buildings, including a listed former 17th-century Court of Justice and an old mill, both of which have been completely rehabilitated. Adjoining these buildings, on the edge of the Mehaigne, a fun and educational willow trail has been set up. This surprising space includes an adventure tower, a maze, a water garden, a living willow tunnel, a salicetum, an oser grove, a fishing pond and a multitude of elements allowing you to discover the willow in all its forms! Not far away is the 8-hectare Hosdent Marshes State Nature Reserve. This enchanting environment allows beautiful walks such as La Rainette des Marais but also offers an opportunity to continue the discovery of the region thanks to the Traversine (RAVeL line 127).
