The town hall, in the Louis XVI style, is part of the "exceptional heritage of Wallonia" and reflects the town’s prosperity in the 18th century. The building was constructed on designs of the architect Renoz. The sculptures are the work of P. Frank from Liège. The coats of arms of the town are seen on the frontispiece, as well as the phrase “Publicité sauvegarde du peuple” (“transparency, the safeguard of the people”, referring to the dissemination of the debates of the elected representatives). Inside, the décor and the stucco are remarkable. The ceilings are decorated with allegorical representations.
