Worldwide important lighting objects and mechanisms, from prehistory to the 21st century, are exhibited in the Liege Lighting Museum. Over 1000 pieces, grouped by theme, shed light on the evolution of different lighting systems. With worldwide examples you will learn all there is to know about lighting: the Liege Light Museum will make one discover this facette of human ingenuity. The existence of the museum is owed in a large part to the donation of the Philippe Deitz's collection. He has been collecting ancient lights since the age of 15 and is the founder of MUVILUM - Le Musée vivant du luminaire (The Living Light Museum) and the author of "History of Lights. History of Man."
