A museum at the Fort of Tancrémont since May 29, 2018!
The patriotic associations of the region, the Friends of the Fort of Tancrémont, and the municipality of Pepinster chose this symbolic date to inaugurate this new museum. Indeed, May 29 commemorates the 78th anniversary of the fort's surrender.
This museum is located in the former pastry shop "La Chapelle". Visitors can discover three rooms arranged to trace the history of the 40-45 war, and more specifically that of the Pepin site. Period uniforms, press clippings, everyday objects... or other more "shocking" pieces are presented there.
The museum is open every first Sunday of the month from 1 PM to 5 PM.
Also open on July 21 from 10 AM to 4 PM with firings from the dome of building B.II
