Every year, almost 40 000 passengers take the Cramignon ferry in order to cross the Meuse between the Dutch town of Eijsden and the Walloon village of Lanaye. A dozen people, pedestrians or cyclists, can take a seat on board in order to get to the opposite river bank. It is therefore an advantageous substitute for a road crossing that can only be performed via Maastricht or Visé. Make the most of it to take a break on the delightful terraces set up on either riverbank! The ferry operates from Easter onwards until the autumn holidays, 7 days a week, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. during the season. Opening times may be adjusted according to weather and sailing conditions.
