Lieve Gewillig knows Vilvoorde like the back of her hand. What do you want, if you have been running a restaurant and living there for more than thirty years? She has one place that she has a particularly warm heart for: the canal. "Do you know the canal in Vilvoorde, the place where different worlds come together? You have a view of the park of the Three Fountains and the buildings from the industrial past. Under the bridge you can see the approach road to the city center while you hear ships passing almost silently on the water. I often sit on a bench to watch the spectacle."
