Former "court of pleasure" in traditional brick and sandstone style with Flemish Renaissance elements and some late Gothic reminiscences, largely dating back to the sixteenth century, but repeatedly extensively restored and renovated, notably in the early twentieth century. The castle, located in the spring area of the Vleze to the southwest of the village center, was protected as a monument by Royal Decree of April 13, 1953; the castle and its immediate surroundings, including the rampart and the avenue, were protected as a landscape by Royal Decree of the same date.
