These clay pits are still partly in use. However, the front part is completely abandoned. It was sprayed with sand and with it some puddles, which the topographic maps still indicate, were closed. You can now enter it without any problems. The local youth movement has carved clay steps here and there to make the site more accessible. It is a pity that riders ride these paths and therefore regularly destroy the work of the young people. After the exit to the right you reach the sprayed terrain. Next to the church of Terhagen, a few chimneys rise above the sandy plain. On the left are the ponds of the local fishing club De Lustige Vissers. Once on the gravel road you end up in an area that is partly wooded.
