West of Bouillon, on the quiet banks of the Semois, lies the Cistercian abbey of Our Lady of Clairfontaine, quietly overlooking the meadows near the Semois and the dense deciduous forests on the hillsides. You can buy delicious bread (on Tuesdays and Fridays from 11.00 am), as well as a choice of artisanal objects, made by the sisters who populate the abbey.
