Two sculptors transformed an 800-year-old linden tree, which stood in Zoersel village square until 1974, into a striking work of art. Pol Van Esbroeck carved around 85 figures from local village life into the trunk, while Mariëtte Coppens tells the story of De Loteling (conscription) on the branches. You can admire this remarkable piece in the Linden Pavilion.
