The Dorpermolen is the watermill closest to the source of the Abeek, which is why it is also called the Voorste Molen. The year 1758 is inscribed on the rear façade, but there may have been a mill here much earlier. In 1470 there was already talk of a mill road, a mill field and a mill stream.
