Camping Kikmolen

The unique location of Camping Kikmolen - in the Hoge Kempen National Park and in the Maasvallei River Park - provides a wide variety of landscapes during your cycling and hiking tours. The site combines the wooded National Park with the meandering Meuse and the picturesque Meuse villages. With the Mechelse Heide in the backyard, you can experience a unique cycling experience with 'Cycling through the Heath'. You cycle through the National Park, where a 300-meter wooden bike bridge takes you up to a beautiful panoramic view. In 2024, 'Cycling between the Mining Spoil Tips' opened, an experience that allows you to view the mining landscape from a different perspective. This is also just a short bike ride from the campsite.

Both Maasmechelen Village and Maastricht are nearby, so you don’t even have to get in the car for a shopping or cultural day out. This array of possibilities makes Camping Kikmolen the ideal base for a varied holiday.

The campsite provides all facilities, such as a brasserie, a cafeteria, a shop, and a fry shop. The spacious layout and many cozy fields and streets ensure that, despite the size of the campsite, you experience a pleasant atmosphere and that nature is never far away. Prefer a bit more luxury? Then book one of the luxuriously furnished rental caravans. With a central location on the campsite and with 2 or 3 bedrooms, you can experience the ambiance and surroundings in all comfort.

In addition to the beautiful location and luxury facilities, the swimming lake with pure natural water (a whopping 2.7 hectares large) is a unique feature. Thanks to the shallow bottom, there is also safe water fun for the little ones. The sunbathing area by the swimming lake is particularly relaxing. No swimming weather? Then there are still various indoor and outdoor playgrounds to let off some steam.
