The site combines the wooded National Park with the meandering Maas river and the picturesque Maas villages. With the Mechelse Heide in the backyard, you can experience a unique cycling experience with 'Cycling through the Heath' in the Hoge Kempen National Park. On a four-kilometer cycling route, you ride through the National Park, where a 300-meter wooden bike bridge takes you higher for a beautiful panoramic view.

But there is more. Both Maasmechelen Village and Maastricht are nearby, so for a day of shopping or culture, you don’t even need to get in your car. This array of possibilities makes Camping Kikmolen the ideal base for a varied holiday.

The camping facilities are of a high standard. A canteen with animation, sports fields, a convenient camp shop (with fresh bread every day), a restaurant, fries from the fry shop... The spacious layout of the recreation park and the many charming little fields and streets ensure that despite the size of the campsite, you experience a pleasant atmosphere, and nature is never far away.

In addition to the beautiful location and luxury facilities, the swimming lake with pure natural water (a whopping 2.7 hectares in size) is a unique feature. Jump in via the 78-meter long slide or take it step by step, through the gently sloping sandy bottom that gradually descends to the deep end of 1.80m. Thanks to the shallow bottom, there is also safe water fun for the little ones. The sunbathing area by the swimming lake is also a particularly relaxing place to be. Not swimming weather? Then there are several playgrounds to let off steam, both outside and inside.
