St. Peter's Church is the result of an early 20th century reconstruction of the cruciform basilica with the integration of the older Gothic tower. The medieval west tower of the church has several typical Gothic heritage features such as the presence of a commekamer, a clock attic with a rare preserved mechanical Gothic/17th-century clock with accessories and bell loft. In the 18th century, under the influence of the then pastor Vinck, the tower underwent a style evolution of which the rococo-inspired gate frame and a rare and intact Delhaye organ are still witnessed.
