The Liereman is a vast heath and marsh reserve, one of the largest and oldest protected nature reserves in Belgium. The most famous plant in the reserve is the wild gale. In De Liereman you can make beautiful walks. The shortest route is 3.5 kilometers, the longest 11 kilometers. Afterwards you can enjoy a diy exhibition or a regional beer in the Visitor Centre. The house speciality is a golden blond, fruity organic beer of 7.5 percent that is brewed with ingredients from the nature reserve.
