The Fort of Schoten is a fort located in the municipality of Schoten. It was part of the Stelling van Antwerpen and specifically of the outer ring of forts around the city of Antwerp.
The original construction of the fort began in brick in 1885, and the fort was built to defend the Dessel-Turnhout-Schoten canal and the Brechtsebaan. Eight years later, the fort was completed in concrete and equipped with armored turrets. The fort was connected to the railway to Antwerp via a narrow gauge track, used for the transportation of ammunition.
