The Spanish Tide Mill in Rupelmonde, a hydraulic engineering work, dates back to the 16th century and is the only remaining mill in Europe that can mill grain using the tides. Moreover, the mill wheel is the largest inner wheel in Belgium.
Around the Tide Mill, on the Mercator Island, you will also find the Graventoren, the Schelleke, and the lightship De Westhinder.
