Description

The river now flows through the park of Arenberg, including the castle of Arenberg.
Slalom and downhill races take place here every year, organized by the Royal Sportivitas Kayak Club Leuven (KSKCL).
At very high water levels, it may be that there are bridges from here where you can no longer sail under. Shortly after the Celestijnenlaan bridge you come to an old water mill. You can easily sail through the left opening, or the second one next to it. Even with a large canoe (type C-10) you get through this. The two openings on the right also go, but are narrow.
