Meersel-Dreef has been a well-known pilgrimage site in Belgium and the Netherlands since about 1900
Every year thousands of believers visit the well-known Mariapark "Onze Lieve Vrouw van Meersel-Dreef", located right opposite the Monastery and the Capuchin Church
The Mariapark (also called "Genadedal") was already created in the time when it was a monastery park, but around 1890 it became a public park of popular devotions.
