It may seem strange, but Krantwinkel Deneef was one of the favourite places of one of the most famous guitarists in Belgium: Willy Willy, or Willy Lambregt. Willy Willy played for many bands but was best known as the guitarist of The Scabs. But he was also a guest guitarist with Arbeid Adelt! He also played for Vaya Con Dios. At the same time he formed an acoustic duo with his friend Dirk Schoufs. In 1994, The Scabs decided to replace him with Tjenne Berghmans. Willy Willy was forced to leave the band. In 1999, he returned to the spotlight as the frontman of Voodoo Band. In 2009, after a successful reunion of The Scabs, he founded the group Willy & LaFayette together with Frankie Saenen and Geert Schuurmans. On February 13, 2019, he died of cancer. In this newsagent there was a mourning register for the fans.
