The Mortagne Castle or La Mortagne, also known as Maison de Viron, is a country house in cottage style, located in Bellegem. Maison de Viron refers to the noble family that built and inhabited it for many years. The villa is situated along the Sint-Leonardusberg, better known as 't Kruiske, where several cycling races take place annually, and it connects Bellegem with Rollegem. The country house is located in the former park, the estate Ter Kercke on the Walleweg. The park lane that runs through the domain of the de Viron family connects the Walleweg with Bellegemplaats. The castle offers a panoramic view of, among others, Rollegem and Dottenijs. On the green estate, there is also a farm that is still owned by the family.
