Bandundu Water Jazz Band is a work of art in the Belgian municipality of Tervuren in the province of Flemish Brabant. The statue was created in 2005 by the Belgian sculptor Tom Frantzen.
Tom Frantzen used the roundabout to create a circle game in which the motorists participate. The purpose of the artwork is to represent Tervuren. To welcome her visitors and passers-by, Frantzen presents the jazz band of African aquatic animals at the Royal Museum for Central Africa. The frogs play the accordion and the trumpet, the crocodiles the double bass and the drum, and a hippopotamus the tuba. The circles in concrete are designed according to the structure of water lily leaves and look like a rotating gramophone record. The water jets form a chaotic rhythm of semicircles.
