The Chapelle Notre-Dame de Willerieken is a place of worship in the Sonian forest located on the territory of the municipality of Hoeilaart. The chapel is located on the Willeriekendreef, a forest road between Hoeilaart and Bosvoorde, and near the Welriekendreef, a road from Hoeilaart to Jesus-Eik.
The artists found their way to the chapel during the Belle Epoque. In 1906, Rodin returned touched to the place where he had met his "wild muse", Nature. In his heyday, Rik Wouters painted a watercolor of the chapel, with the typical color areas placed next to each other. The calm around the chapel ended in the 1970s due to the construction of the Ring R0 nearby.
