The Begijnenborrebos is located between Snikbergstraat and the trout pond at Jachthofweg. The total area is approximately 25 hectares, of which 0.7 hectares is owned by Natuurpunt. It is not accessible to the public, as it is not cut through by neighborhood or footpaths.
The Begijnenborrebos is dominated by a beech plantation, which provides a beautiful view but is somewhat less species-rich, as the beech efficiently captures light before it reaches the ground. However, the forest exhibits beautiful spring vegetation and contains an interesting spring area. It is considered a piece of Zoniënwoud in Dilbeek, due to the similar vegetation.
