The Sint-Vincentius a Paulokerk is the parish church of the village of Kleit, which belongs to the East Flemish municipality of Maldegem, located at Kleitkalseide 103.
Kleit's habitation dates back to a 12th-century settlement at the Provost of Papinglo, where the population used the chapel of this provost to attend Mass. At the end of the 16th century, the abbey was destroyed during the religious wars and it was not until the 19th century that a place of worship was built again, which, partly due to the increased population, was needed.
