Papal zouave or mill of Nuffel
Type: Open-foot stake mill
Function: Flour mill
Built: before 1391
Disappeared: 1972 demolition
A mill with an eventful, extensively described and beautifully portrayed past. For example, we read that lightning struck the mill on February 14, 1904. On the ends of the blades was a large flame that ran along the rods as they rose and faded away as they descended. So the mill kept running for 10 minutes.
