Onthaalzone de Speelberg is het ideale startpunt voor pure bosbeleving in het Meerdaalwoud: er is voldoende parkeerplaats, sanitair, een picknickplaats met barbecue en aan de kruising met de Herculesdreef een losloopzone voor honden. Vlakbij vind je ook speelzone het Everzwijnbad. Deze speelzone kom je nog tegen helemaal op het einde van je wandeling. Kom je met het openbaar vervoer? Geen probleem, het station van Sint-Joris-Weert is vlakbij.
