Disused but still rail-connected SNCB line located in the Molignée valley. The most interesting section is located between km 30 and 30.9. The track is used by 'draisine' vehicles between Warnant and Maredsous. Downstream, bramble recolonization is underway, but xerophytic flora is still well represented. The former sorting area of Warnant is occupied by a remarkable wasteland. The section occupied by the draisines is mostly in embankments where fragments of dry calcicolous lawns (around bridges and quarries) alternate with rocky trenches featuring notably ravine maple stands. The site is of high interest, particularly from a botanical, entomological, and herpetological perspective. Furthermore, the line serves as an important migration corridor to other sites of high biological interest present in the valley.
