Bart Goris and his wife Cecile have been running their traditional catering butcher Bartis on the corner of Ongelberg and Schoor since 1992. Bart got the microbes from his father who was a beef wholesaler. Today, Bartis is known in the Kempen for its enormously wide range of meat preparations. In addition to the range of snacks, there are also some local toppers such as the Kasseiburger, the Goudhaantje, the Provencal boulet, the Knorkip and the Vlindersaté.
All meat preparations are traditionally and freshly prepared in the Bartis workshop and then leave in refrigerated vans directly to our customers (about 300 catering establishments - mainly deep-frying - spread over Antwerp and Limburg).
