Set in the valley of the Grote Schijn, the Vrieselhof castle estate offers three scenic walking routes of 1.5, 2, or 3 kilometres, each showcasing the diversity of this beautiful nature reserve. There is also a wheelchair-accessible path and an educational forest trail. The imposing neo-Renaissance castle is home to the provincial library, while the visitor centre hosts regular themed exhibitions. From here, you can join a variety of walks, guided or self-led. And when it’s time to relax, De Remise pub, housed in the former carriage building, serves food and drinks in a welcoming setting.
