Description

The make-up consists of a specialty shop and bicycle-friendly café with heated terrace, located in the old customs office at the border crossing in Kessenich. The shop sells traditional hams from different regions of Europe, cheese specialities, German breads, wines and local products. All these products are also incorporated in the dishes that the café offers. Cyclists can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee with a homemade pastry for € 3.50. In addition, the building serves as a tourist information point for "Rivierenpark Maasvallei". De Smakerij also organizes tastings for groups with the theme: hams - beer specialties - cheeses - sherry. Located close to the bike and walking route.
