This atmospheric museum presents chronologically the life of man in and around Maaseik from the Stone Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age and Roman period to the Middle Ages. In addition to special finds, you will also find scenes that illuminate a certain period by means of true-to-life images. Once past the beautiful 17th-century door frame, you are literally sucked into time. Be surprised by the life history of the Maaslanders and the Maaseikenaren. Did they know the same fauna and flora as we do now?
