Description

This monument represents Pluto. The dwarf planet Pluto, still a planet at the time of its inauguration in 2004, can be found next to florenville town hall, 147 km from Auderghem and has a diameter of 5 cm. It is part of a scale model at 1/40 millionth of our solar system. The center (de Zon) is located in Auderghem.

It would be the second largest in the world, after the Sweden Solar System in Sweden. The initiative was taken in 2004. The eleven creations of artist Tim Roosen are in 10 different places in Belgium. Frank De Winne is the sponsor of this unique project.
