In the Emile Verhaeren Museum, which was founded in 1955, you can discover the life and work of this famous French-speaking Flemish poet, who came from Sint-Amands. You will be introduced to the figure of Verhaeren on the basis of precious manuscripts, letters, photographs, bibliophile books and works of art.

The museum is located next to the poet's birthplace and is beautifully decorated in a modern, contemporary way. Temporary exhibitions of work by contemporary artists are regularly organised .
