The Alenapark is located in the heart of Dilbeek and forms agreen lung in the center. In every season, this small but beautiful park is highly recommended. The impressive trees provide cooling and shade during warm summer days, in autumn you can enjoy beautiful color variations, in winter there is a magical atmosphere, and in spring, it is a delight to experience the budding spring.
Together with the Park of Dilbeek, the Alenapark is a remnant of the large castle park of Dilbeek. The two parks are separated by the Heetveldelaan. If you're visiting for the first time, be amazed by thedeeply incised hollow way that practically divides the park in two.
The park is named after Alena, the saint who is inextricably linked to Dilbeek. The park is also known as theAlenabos. Children can play and romp freely there. In the ditch at the edge of the forest of the park, you will find theIce Cellar and a large grassy field, commonly referred to as'the Potato Field'.
