[WW I, WW II, 1923]
This grand monument, on which the names of the Aarschot victims from both wars are mentioned, was inaugurated in 1923 under royal attention. It was designed by architect Victor Creten and executed by the renowned sculptor Pieter Braecke. Since the Belgian state financed almost no war monuments, the monument was also established through donations from the population.
