The thunder saint Saint Donatus has his permanent home in this small classicist chapel. At the end of the Second World War, the statue was destroyed by a flying bomb and had to be replaced. Sin-Donatus was especially called upon against thunder and lightning, and if at all possible, also against fever. In Rilaar, the relic of the saint was venerated on August 7 until the 1950s. The chapel was one of the regular stops at the procession. The local residents then decorated them with shreds, flags, paper roses... In front of the chapel was an ark and an altar. During the sacrificial procession, the faithful walked around the chapel three times
