So-called "Castle Farm". Reconstruction of 1920-1921, designed by A. Latte (Kortrijk). According to the Atlas der Buurtwegen (1842), the former castle farm, seat of the former lordship of Moorslede, was located further north in a moated site on the current Kasteelhofstraat, (without visible remains); that castle farm resulted from the transformation around 1700 of the presumably reconstructed castle from 1617. Pre-war postcards give roughly the same image of the "lord's house" as Sanderus' Flandria Illustrata (1641); however, by 1914 the moat had already been filled in.
