The foundations of this castle farm date from the thirteenth century. Here was the residence of the family 'Van Vrechem', a family of noblemen, knights and landowners "who determined the history of Denderwindeke throughout the Middle Ages". In the eighteenth century, the court came into the possession of the influential Brussels patrician family Vander Noot, of whom Hendrik, lawyer and champion during the Brabant revolution (1789-1790) is the best known. Above the central entrance gate, a stone mentions the year 1739. Above that you can see the pigeon tower under tent roof.
